Working at Height Safety Training & Basic Rigging
Aims to provide learners with the required skills to reduce accidents during work at heights. Further more, be able to perform rescues.

Learners wishing to acquire the competencies in this course will be for example, individuals working at height where there is a risk of injury from a fall. Further, learners who will be involved in performing tasks at height. Consequently, learners will be able to follow fall arrest principles to perform work at height safely, under supervision of a qualified supervisor.

The course will equip learners with the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding in order to take responsibility for installing, using and inspecting fall arrest systems and to perform basic rescues.

The course is aimed at those individuals who will be responsible for the safety and protection of people working at heights where there is a risk of injury from a fall. The course will equip learners with the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding to develop fall protection plans for people working at height, required by the Occupational Health and safety act (Act 85 of 1993).

Upon completion of the course, the learner will be able to demonstrate the ability to monitor, report and advise on compliance with legislation regarding lifting equipment.
